A plant can respond to stimuli, for example by turning towards the light, It is also hard to see what purpose pain could serve for the plant, since they can hardly run away.Plants certainly can respond to injury and they do transmit
impulses from one cell to the next, but this is not the same as feeling pain,and when they do react its not pain as we experence it,because to feel pain they need… peripheral nerves…….nerve fibers…..dorsal horn,brain etc

plants have an energy in them but unable to feel pain because they have no brain or nervous system and there for the pain signal isnt transmitted or recieved

there are 2 ways to be fooled…. one is to believe what isnt true, the other is refuse to believe what is true, i have no beliefs. theres no creator, we are all one form of energy experencing its self in a human form, and thats not a belief its acceptance to what is. peace

I am not muslim but I am considering following halal food principles but since I live in the city and do not drive I would not be in a position to slaughter any animal. I’ll have to stick to what I can buy in the grocery store or farmers market. Blesses and faith filled Ramadan to all you brothers and sisters.

we are all born equal, wether u believe in gods/idols or not, nobody has the right to take another beings life wether its a human life or an animals life, thats my oppinion anyway, if you believe in religion (evrybody has an oppinion and i not attacking that) if god believes evrybodys equal how come he is so special? and if god loves evrybody then why if u dont believe him he sends you to hell?

animals are not killed in a horrific mannar they are killed quickly and without tortue, but brother u still cannot answer that plants have lives and also the Quran does not say the Earth is 6,000 years old. Not a single established scientific FACT goes against Islam. THEORIES may go against Islam but not FACTS. I hope God guides u to the straight path.

He says “God has submitted the creation to us” What absolute nonsense? Do you still believe in the creation? Do you think the the earth is only 6,000 years old. If you do you still live in the stone age. As a principle I , my family and many I know always avoid any food marked Halal for the simple reason animals are killed in the most horrific manner.

Aslamualaikum brothers and sisters, If u say that it is cruel to kill animals and eat them, lemme ask u this. Did u know plants feel pain? Planst also cry, their cry cannot be heard by us but modern science today tells us plants even cry. So if u say it is cruel to kill animals for food then it is cruel to eat plants for food. Also if u see your teeth, we have pointy teeth like every carnivores animal. If God didnt want us to eat animals then we wud be born with all flat teeth. Jazak Allah Khair

Nope.. won’t work .Like all things in islam it’s all about the intention of a person who is doing an action. Recordings wouldn’t apply even if you recorded it with intentions for slaughter.Individual animals require individual intention.

Yeah… I don’t see many cows running after people with a fork and knife and a bottle of A1 sauce. It’s obvious that the one whom is doing the eating is the dominate species. Cows don’t eat meat for professional curtousy sake.
