I came across this work of Mr. Schutz (who passed away recently)by accident at a clearance sale and was pleasantly surprised. It's a collection of specific meditational exercises that are attributed to what is generically termed Caucasian Yoga (referring to it's origins in the Caucasus Mountains). Yes, they are the ones in the old yogurt commercials who live to ripe old ages although no claim is made in this book regarding that. The closest thing I have found to this unique work is the writings of Murat Yagan, who espouses a philosophy called Kebzeh. The book is short and easy to get through. I have tried some of the exercises and must admit they produced some interesting results. Although I have not tried some of the more complex exercises described and can make no statements regarding Mr. Schutz's claims about their effects. All in all a unique source of information not found in other areas. One of the main tenets, that the hand positions of figures in religious and sacred artworks are a clue to how to position our hands in meditation. Practioners of Yoga will recognize these as mudras.
Excellent content but a direct ... of a greater author

This book is very well written, however it is a complete, word-for-word ... of "A System of Caucasian Yoga", written by Count Collona Stephan Walewski and originally published in the mid 1950's. The original book was transcribed and published in Walewski's own handwriting. There were only 500 copies printed. "Count" Walewski spent years in a secret monastery in the Caucasus Mountains and was instructed to write and publish the book by the heirophants. A few copies still remain in circulation. The information is provocative and the system is powerful; Some of the results from the practice can be startling. Walewski's book isn't for everyone, but it is fascinating. It may be available from Borderland Sciences in Facsimilie (do a web search). I do not know how Mr. Schutz was able to publish Kosher Yoga without so much as an acknowledgement to Walewski for his original work.
