Yah's laws of kosher/kashrut are revealed in the torah to us to guide the eating habits of our life. We are to put elohim (God)first in every area of life, including what we eat.

locusts, crickets, grasshoppers, torah declares clean. Nowhere in the word does it say this changed. The Pharisees do away with the torah by their tradition. The NT doesn’t add to nor change God’s commands. It simply shows how God always meant for it to be followed.

Actually crickets and grasshoppers are not clean, because the Jews (yes I am one) have lost the identity of the clean ones versus the unclean ones. Just like a giraffe is TECHNICALLY kosher, but we have lost the exact point on the neck where it has to be cut, so it is not kosher by default. But most important is what it says in Deuteronomy, that nothing shall be ADDED or taken away from the Torah-so the new testament and all those who try and add or subtract laws from the Torah are mistaken.

I am a Messianic Believer and I follow Yeshua. Thanks for making this teaching available. I am trying to do the same. We need to make Biblical information available. Man’s religion has created so many problems for all of us. But Brother will you get the persecution when you try and correct the false teaching. Baruch Hashem Adonai

bondi- Paul spoke of which of the requirements the new Greek believers should be taught to keep right away. He instructed to tell the new believers to keep the parts of Torah that make them clean to enter the synagogue, presumably so they could hear teaching on keeping the fullness of Torah.
You can’t expect 1st century non-Hebraic Greeks to adopt a Hebraic lifestyle over night, or even know what it entails.
Remeber Paul was a Rabbi, his writings ALL relate to Torah, and teaching Torah.

Great Video. The Dietary law was in place in the beginning before Moses and even Israel were in existence among the followers of Yah. Thats why he told Noah to bring TWO of every UNCLEAN animal onto the ark and SEVEN of every CLEAN. Even Noah knew the difference between CLEAN & UNCLEAN. PEACE.

My understanding is that when Paul was rounding up members for his new ‘Jesus Club’, some of the potential (non-Jewish) recruits were poor farmers, and a few pigs were all that some families owned for food.
Paul looks like he took a rather pragmatic approach to signing these people up, also relaxing the requirement that males must be circumcised (not a good selling point when trying to recruit men to the club).
I doubt whether any of these ‘divine’ books are in fact divine

When I looked up its definition/category, it falls into the category of crustaceans, like shrimp, so it’s not food, shalom,

This is talking about people who order others to abstain from clean foods. How do I know? b/c it says FOOD. Pig, rat, bat, and cat are not food, Paul being a kosher Jew knows this. Feel free to message me with any more questions…

I almost threw up at the end!!! It’s amazing that God knew what to tell the Israelities and us what to eat, partially because it was not healthy for us. God is really after us holistically isn’t he?? Praise be to Yeshua!

So 90% of all the items at Red Lobster are out?!?!? Dang, I’m gonna miss that stuff, but righteousness is better when in relationship with God. The fruit that is given and is of God is much sweeter and tastier than we can imagine, like the manna that fed the camp of Israel in the dessert!! Pray for me as my finance and I will struggle with this in the short term.

If you have to watch what you eat to stay clean little brother, then Lord Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross for your sins was in vain. Thank God 1 John 1:7 tells us that’s not so.

This talks about those weak brothers who didn’t know that they could eat kosher meats. In an effort to aviod eating meat sacrificed to idols, they went totally vegetarian.

EXCELLENT VIDEO! I’m so sick of hearing people say the food laws are Jewish. Noah was told to take seven of the clean animals into the ark. He and his family needed to eat. Even a Budweiser commercial had this wrong with they quoted the story of Noah saying how could he leave those two cows alone (steak).
