i’m no authority on judaism, but it would seem to me that the Torah emphasises Mercy and Compassion- over sacrifice.
(to see an animal suffering and ignore it’s pain willingly….this is sad and horrific at the same time- both for the animal and that human being who has lost their soul- no ritual can help that person- because they’ve already lost their soul.

Look up a book called the Secret Relationship Between Blacks and Jews. NOw most people claim that things are biased when they don’t agree with what is stated. The book is EXCELLENT because the footnotes & bibliographies are STOCK FULL of Jewish sources from Jewish Historians. I don’t consider it my job to PROVE anything to anyone. You study 4 urself & do ur own proving, bmut I am happy to share sources.
