killing animals in “halal” way is haram
October 13th, 2009 - 17:03
Seems like it’s becoming impossible for Sikhs to avoid Halal/Kosher meat these days. People often ask me why Sikhs are probhibited from eating these meats and no it’s not because we have eternal hate towards Muslims for what they did to our Gurus, it’s more to do with the fact that the animal suffers when slaughtered this way. We only eat meat that has been killed with one swift cut to the neck NO PAIN.

you are stupid

Prohibited meats:
No Pork, No carnivores, no scavengers (carnivores), no animals that die of themselves (like disease).
I agree meat industry is a problem, and the inspection industry is bad as well, but nobody prevents you from huntin/fishing, raising/farming, and then slaughtering your own game. Kosher would be halal as well for an alternative.

See Meet Your Meat for halal vs non halal. That is difference.. it is about being humane to animal by giving a swift death.
October 13th, 2009 - 17:03
just hunt/fish yourself for halal meat. Kosher is halal too, most important is how the animal is killed by cutting the neck. Kosher inspections are also like an extra tax on the meat.. but when you compare this to non-halal meats.. it is far better. Search Meet your Meat on Youtube
Also, I always thought Haram meant prohibited or forbidden not crime. There are varying degrees of prohibited things.. it says in Qu’ran some things are more important than others.. there is priority.

Not so. Wine has a more elegant image, carefully produced by the vineyards, but you are as likely to find a bottle of cheap wine in the brown paper bag the street alcoholic drinks from as hard liquor or beer.
The alcohol is the same. Wine is just as bad as beer or hard liquor.

The absence or presence of feathers, beak, and pulse.
Seriously, organic free range chicken, such as Amish chicken or chicken lucky people can raise themselves on their own land, are far superior in taste and nutrition than chickens from large companies like Tyson, where the birds are treated terribly, their legs cannot support their own weight, etc. These are not only cruelly raised, but the meat is mooshy, the bones without calcium…there are videos here and full documentaries online.

what is the difference between a supermarket chicken and a chicken? LOL!
October 13th, 2009 - 17:03

Did he suggested that i can eat beef and chicken from my school?
Someone told me i can’t eat and others told me i can? Which is the truth?
Please help me.

The animal from which the meat comes must be free of disease. I assume that also means mental disease, or organic brain disease. So, your penis cannot possibly be Kosher. Nor can it be halal, but if you really really WANT it to be severed from your body with a razor sharp blade, Iran DOES provide halal sex change operations.

Maybe dried salted beef meat imported by travelers.
October 13th, 2009 - 17:03
Maybe it was filet mignon imported from New Zealand. I recall the hadith, not the name of the Prophet’s family’s meat distributor.
As I heard this hadith from an Afghani who did not speak English as his 1st, 2d, or even 3d language, it is possible he referred to all “red meat” as “beef”. I know he referred to buffalo as “beef”, and I’ve never heard of an absence of cattle in Mecca OR Medina.
Could you find something more trivial upon which to comment?
